Multi-function Power Supply - Model PS-2B™

The model PS-2B has been designed to provide a variety of voltage sources for test and commissioning purposes.

The instrument has three ac voltage outputs of:
0-120/277/480 volts at 8/4/2 amperes respectively. In addition, these outputs are passed through a bridge rectifier to provide unfiltered dc output voltage.

  • Three continuously adjustable voltage ranges up to 480 Vac and up to 8 amps
  • These ac sources are also rectified to provide various dc sources
  • Three regulated and filtered dc power supplies are also provided

The instrument contains three other regulated and filtered dc power supplies including 0-120 volts at 0.2 amperes,
0-48 volts at 1.2 amperes and 0-24 volts at 1.2 amperes.

Consider the following applications:
  • Use the 277 volt ac output to verify ground fault protection scheme
  • Use 480 volt ac output to energize the control system of MCC's
  • Supply 120 VDC to protection panels or to power micro-processor based relays
  • Energize spring ac or dc charging motors on circuit breakers
